Strawberry patterend faschinator

I looked up a couple of fascinator tutorials on Google and after some experimenting found that a felt base starched using pva glue diluted with water works excellently. I found out about the pva method from this blog: [link] (Swedish only, but lots of nice pictures of crafty projects)

I used synthetic felt but I think wool is easier to shape. I shaped the bases on one of my manikin heads and let them dry over night.

Then I Covered them in printed cotton fabric and added embellishments. Now I only have to get my hands on some wigclips to finish them.
